TREADMILL LUBES - This is the one Most Important procedure required by the Treadmill owner to prolong their investment and maintain the lifespan and overall operation of their Treadmill.
Whether you own a Commercial Grade Treadmill or Home Use Grade Treadmill despite what you may have been told, read or heard, unless your Treadmill is fitted with a self-applying reservoir ALL Treadmill Decks will require a Deck Wax re-dressing or Oil Lubricant at some stage.
Some Treadmill and Belt Manufactures label their products with Sales Specific "Pre-Lubed", "Waxless" or "Maintenance Free" Running Belts. This is basically where an application of Wax or Silicone Oil has been pre-applied onto the surface of the Deck or underside of the Treadmill Belt. However, one application won't last long! Depending on the hourly usage the machine tolerates, this pre-lubrication can degrade and wear away prematurely contributing to additional friction between the underside of the Belt and surface of the Deck. This in turn can create Deck and/or Belt wear but more importantly also cause "amp draw" which will often result in unnecessary Motor failure and/or Motor Control Board (MCB) damage.
Do not confuse our Genuine Lubes with "off the shelf" general purpose Silicon Aerosol Sprays or Solvent Based Oils as these will cause adverse Treadmill Running Belt failure over the long term.
A Simple Rule is: NEVER, EVER apply any Solvent, Petroleum or Aerosol based lube onto ANY type of Treadmill Belt backing Fabric!!! Our Tech Guys only use Pure Lubrication when on-site servicing and home Treadmill Belts deserve the same!
Remember: If it's not Expert's Registered Logo on the bottle then it's simply not Expert's Genuine Treadmill Lube in the bottle!
