Expert's Commercial Blend of 100% Pure Silicone oil should be used on commercial treadmills only either by manual application or through the Treadmills reservoir refill. The Treadmill Lube works best with the heavier weight 2-ply Commercial Belts or thicker Orthopaedic Treadmill Belts to provide the highest possible level of protection for the Treadmills mechanical and electronic component parts.
Our Commercial blend of Pure Silicone oil Lube is available only form Expert Fitness UK or authorised Re-Sellers and is used daily by Treadmill Service Engineers during repair and service visits on a wide scale nationwide.
Important Note: We do not recommend the use of Commercial Grade Oil for Domestic Market Home Use Treadmills, as it's a different blend and intended for thicker Running Belts, Heavier User Weights and High Belt Speeds. For your convenience our Commercial Grade Pure Silicone Oil Treadmill Lube is supplied in a 250ml or 500ml closed cap Plastic Bottle and now a ***New 5 Litre Container*** more suitable for Service Engineers. All containers are supplied with Applicator and Tube Kits.
Should I use Oil or Wax?
In the first instance check your user manual which will recommend either a Wet Lube such as Silicone Oil, or Water Based Wax or it will recommend a Dry Lube such as Hard Paraffin Wax in the form of Wax Granules or in a Soft based Wax Powder form. If still unsure pull the side of the Treadmill belt upwards and twist it an inch to show the underside then look/feel check the type of fabric on the underside of the belt. If it is Cotton then you should always use our advanced Dry Wax Powder Lube or Granules. Anything other than Cotton such as Polyester (looks like nylon twine) should use our advanced Silicone products.
